Pamela Palmer

Miss Angelic Queen of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

 

Pamela Palmer is a resident of Carnegie, Pennsylvania.  She is employed
as a legal secretary for Zurich U.S. in Pittsburgh.  She enjoys ballroom
dancing, aerobics, performing in community theater, and doing work as a
movie extra.  She was a featured extra in the Hallmark Hall of Fame
movie "Breathing Lessons."  Pamela has been a judge for the Miss Teen
Pittsburgh Pageant.  She is the reigning "Greater Ms. Pittsburgh 2000"
and "Ms. 2000 Pittsburgh."  Her goal is to someday compete in the Ms.
Senior America Pageant.  She is a volunteer for the American Cancer
Society and helps with fundraising for the Animal Rescue League of
Pittsburgh.

Tandi Lee

Miss Angelic Queen of

Cleveland, OH 

I was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas.  I choose to attend
college in Winter Park, Florida.  I was ready for a change.  The college I
went to was Full Sail where I obtained an Associates of Science in Audio
Engineering.  I graduate in November of 1999 and moved to Cleveland, OH to
live closer to my boyfriend.  I just started competing in pageants this
year.

Melissa Sehestedt
Miss Angelic Queen of Omaha, NE

 

Melissa is working on a Master of Arts degree in East Asian Studies from
Stanford University.  A Summa Cum Laude (4.0 GPA) graduate of the
University of Nebraska, Melissa spent her junior year studying in Japan
on a full scholarship.  Active both on campus and in the community, she
has received numerous academic and leadership awards.  Melissa has
served as a youth mentor and volunteer foreign language teacher for the
Omaha Public Schools.

Alice Adam

Miss Angelic Queen of 

Waco, TX 

I am a 27 year old Forensic Nurse who volunteers my nursing services at the
Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children in Waco, TX.  I am also
employed by McLennan Community College Associate Degree Nursing School where I work as a substitute Clinical Nursing Instructor.  I am a Registered Nurse, board certified in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, and I am also a Certified Adult and Certified Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (RN,C,CA/CP-SANE).  I am the first nurse in my county, and one of the first
50 in the state, to receive these certifications from the Attorney General
for the State of Texas.  I am currently considering expanding my career by
becoming a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant.  I am married to a wonderful
husband, Joel, and we have a beautiful miracle baby-who is now 2 1/2-named Ashlyn.  My currently goals are to continue to help my community as a
Forensic Nurse/SANE, provide a warming, loving and supportive home to my family, and teach the nurses of tomorrow that compassion is a nurse's
greatest tool.

Hello my name is Heather Comyns and I'm a nursing assistant registered and I attend college close to home.  I will be working towards my Associate of Arts and Sciences degree.  I have volunteered at the food bank and fed the homeless.  When I was younger my mom and I started a special education Sunday school class at our church.  I have also volunteered in highschool as a teacher's assistant for special needs kids.  I enjoy animals causes and have done the PAWS walk a walkathon that helps raise money for animal causes.  I enjoy dancing and swimming I also enjoy walking for different charities.

Avondale, AZ 

Hello Everyone--I’m Nicole Johnson and proud to be the Miss Darling Angelic
Queen of Avondale, AZ.  While my home is in Avondale, Arizona, I currently attend school at The International School Nido de Aguilas, Santiago, CHILE.  I ‘m a 5th grader and love school.  I’m in the gifted and talented program and recognized by the Johns Hopkins University Institute for the Academic Achievement of Youth.  I can speak 2 languages--English and Spanish.   I enjoy sports-my favorite is soccer, music, singing, reading, art, collecting things----and just about anything and everything else.

 

We want to congratulate all of our outstanding City Queens!!! We are still accepting applications for state titles.  Entries must be postmarked by Aug. 20, 2000.
