Amy is a volunteer for the Fairfax County Pets on Wheels program. She seeks to help "reduce the sense of isolation for long-term care facilities, and to bring to the residents an opportunity to enjoy a pet."

Amy was an honor graduate from the Travel Careers Institute. She has also earned her Bachelor's degree from Bellevue University . Amy has been a member of the National Dean's List and Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Amy is a graduate from the Barbizon School of Modeling. She has also had extensive dance training and has choreographed routines for various groups, including one for the Scottsbluff European Tour. She has also held several leadership positions in her places of employment including: Operations Manager, Floor Supervisor, Program Secretary, and Staffing Manager.

This experience has truly been, 'the wind beneath my wings.' My self-confidence has risen to a new level, which in turn has helped me to strive to reach new goals and continue to grow and learn. Sharing with and getting to know the wise and talented group of young ladies and women who represent their states is a delight! I highly recommend this professionally directed pageant to others interested in mail-in pageantry.
